Previously known as Wellington Amateurs, the club came under new management in early 2024. The new owner renamed the club to Telford Town FC, and was seeking a fresh and innovative identity that encapsulated the local area’s spirit and history. We conducted extensive research into the local area and competing clubs’ branding and social media. We then designed and presented three logo design options, featuring circular and shield shapes, to the football club. The final logo design incorporated elements inspired by Telford’s iconic iron bridge, with two letter T’s and an abstract football. We also developed a brand kit, point-of-sale items and billboard visuals for the club’s ground, which highlighted the club’s passion, utilising the striking red colour from their brand kit. The new branding can now be seen on the team wear and merchandise. The club owner has also commissioned Citicreative to rebrand his other businesses.
